WHAT IS CROSSFIT?

What is crossfit?

It consists of functional movements which are both vary and completed with high intensity. These drills include mixed movements or what is the same it implies lots of joints.

Unlike traditional training sessions, crossfit uses natural movements with our body weight which are mixed with weight lifting excercises such as running, rowing or pedaling .

Crossfit is based on multilateral training in order to achieve a perfect body thanks to train the different abilities. You can find ten such as cardiovascular endurance, energetic endurance, strength, flexibility, potence, speed, balance, accuracy, coordination, agility.

Crossfit was invented by Greg Glassman and it was used by the police, firefighters and soldiers from the United States of America. 




Why does crossfit help high performance training?

Because of its multilateral training which achieves a whole body training without any disadvantages and also because it uses the most important elements of each sport thanks to its variability of exercises.

Why to practice it?

It is a perfect and complete training for our body. It is adapated to each person a perfect result and lots of individuals are able to reach their own limits.

  3. Una explicación clara y sencilla de crossfit para aquellas personas que no acostumbran a realizar deporte. He leído que es recomendable un estudio medico previo antes de empezar a prscticsrlo, debido a su alta intensidad, es esto cierto? Cuantas sesiones a las semana son recomendables hacer? Un saludo. Buen trabajo
